Your Role
As Pastry Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to oversee the creation of desserts, breads, and other baked goods. You will have the opportunity to contribute creative ideas to our menu while maintaining the consistency and precision required in a Michelin-starred establishment.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry operations.
Lead and mentor the pastry team in preparation, plating, and service.
Develop and test innovative dessert concepts while upholding the restaurants high standards.
Ensure quality control, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
What Were Looking For
Minimum 3 years of pastry experience, preferably in a Michelin-starred or fine dining environment.
Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, and plated dessert presentation.
Leadership abilities with a passion for developing junior team members.
Creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
