Rate: £105 - £110 Per day

Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pathway Mentor/LSA to support SEND pupils who are progressing to Higher Education.

The ideal candidate for the Pathway Mentor/LSA role would be Psychology graduates or those with relevant support work on teaching assistant experience wanting to pursue a career in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, Speech, and Language and many more! You'll be working alongside a dedicated inclusion team, teachers and SLT as well as having the opportunity to engage with specialists regularly.

The ideal Pathway Mentor/LSA:

  • Provide support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs.
  • To work alongside a supportive, friendly, and determined inclusion staff.
  • To facilitate the differentiation of tasks for students.
  • To work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.

The Pathway Mentor Standard Requirements/LSA:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • GCSE's (Including Maths or English)
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.
