Salary: circa 43,000-45,000k
Are you looking for a role where you can develop your HR experience while working for a leading charity? Our client, a highly respected organisation in the charity sector, is seeking a passionate and dedicated People Advisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer focused HR service across the organisation.
As the People Advisor you will be partnering with managers across the organisation to provide advice on a broad range of generalist HR matters including employee relations, reward, resourcing, end-to-end employee lifecycle and talent development.
Previous experience in a HR role providing first level HR advice is required along with a professional approach and the ability to build effective working relationships. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about HR to deliver a high-quality customer focused service and foster an innovate organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of an efficient generalist HR advisory service across the organisation, providing informed guidance and support on HR policies, processes, and procedures.
- Manage your own caseload of employee relations, working proactively to coach, advise and support managers throughout the process.
- Advise, coach and train managers to support them to manage their people well and deliver an effective service.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Undertake HR projects to improve the quality of service provided in line with organisational objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience of providing advice on HR and employee relations matters within a generalist HR environment.
- Proven experience in managing complex employee relations cases through to resolution.
- Ability to develop excellent working relationships to provide support to a range of leaders and hiring managers across the organisation.
- Strong understanding of employment law and good management practice.
- Good IT skills and knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel and experience of producing reports and data analysis.
- Qualified member of CIPD (level 5 or 7) or have equivalent experience of working on HR matters.
