Morgan Hunt is currently working with a London based charity in search of a Philanthropy Fundraiser. The role offers a great variety in remit of delivering the organisations philanthropy and special events strategy. Role: Philanthropy FundraiserContract: PermanentPay: up to £33,000k p/a Location: Remote/Hybrid from London Key Responsibilities of the new Philanthropy Fundraiser:

  • Work proactively to deliver the Philanthropy and Special Events Strategy, in turn securing income from high network individuals to meet agreed personal and team fundraising targets in line with the organisation's operational priorities.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events in order to raise awareness of work, help retain existing donors and engage new prospects.
  • Identify potential prospects to grow our pipeline, working alongside the Philanthropy Team, Prospect Researcher, Senior Management colleagues and Trustees.
  • Build, manage and maintain a portfolio of donors from £5,000 gifts upwards, stewarding relationships to ensure donor satisfaction and long-term financial commitment, including detailed and timely reporting.
  • Manage effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues in Operations, Finance and Fundraising colleagues, where appropriate, to develop proposals and impact reports.
  • Maintain records of all proposal submissions and stewardship on Mission CRM.
  • Available to travel to London for team days and meetings as required.

Previous experience of the new Philanthropy Fundraiser:

  • Experience working at similar level within a charity.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills to include Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to review and analyze complex donor requirements and match them to internal priorities/projects
  • First class written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt writing style to different types of applications and articulate complex issues in a succinct and compelling way to prospective donors
