Policy and Public Affairs Manager
London
Role:
- Provide strategic advice on all aspects of the organisation's policy, public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity
- Lead on developing relationships with parliamentarians, leveraging the opportunities presented by ongoing political events
- Develop and draft submissions to Government and other stakeholder consultations or calls for evidence as required
- Carrying out research to support public affairs and media messaging, for example, member surveys or opinion polls
- Support the management team to engage in policy discussions with external stakeholders as appropriate
- Responsible for parliamentary monitoring service, reporting on the Organisation's public affairs activity, and identifying opportunities to push the Organisation's policy position

Policy and Public Affairs Manager

Essential:
- Strong working background of delivering public affairs activities aimed at changing legislation or public policy
- Experience of working in a policy driven environment
- Demonstrable experience of writing impactful copy, comment pieces, quotes, policy reports and parliamentary briefings
- Ability and willingness to work at both a strategic and operational level
