Are you an enthusiastic, adaptable PPA Teacher looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to support a vibrant school community in Wandsworth. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to teach across multiple year groups, providing valuable cover while classroom teachers focus on their planning and assessment tasks. The role as a PPA Teacher, would include teaching lessons across the whole school from EYFS to KS2. To start as soon as possible.

As a PPA Teacher you will be required to:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across various subjects, ensuring continuity in learning during teacher absence.
  • Teach across multiple year groups, adapting lessons to meet the needs of different ages and abilities.
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Mark students' work where necessary and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the school's curriculum and contribute to the overall progress and development of the students.
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff, ensuring a smooth transition during PPA cover.
  • Provide flexible cover where needed, including planned absences and occasional emergency cover.

The ideal candidate for a PPA Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching across various year groups in primary education.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, comfortable with covering different subjects and age groups.
  • Effective communication skills, able to consult effectively with other staff members and build rapport with students.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping all students reach their full potential.
