Role Overview: An experienced and strategic Pre Construction Manager is sought for an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pre-construction phase of fit-out projects within the £0.5M - £5M range, ensuring they are thoroughly planned and set up for successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the pre-construction phase from initial client engagement to project handover
Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies
Coordinating design development with architects, engineers, and other consultants
Preparing detailed project proposals, tender documents, and cost estimates
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact during pre-construction
Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving any issues that arise
Regularly reporting on pre-construction progress, costs, and performance
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pre Construction Manager in the Design and Build fit-out sector
Track record of successfully managing pre-construction phases of projects within the £2M - £5M range
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in project management and estimating software
Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
