Premises Assistant

Premises Assistant - Full Time (8am to 3pm)

Location: Greenwich

Are you a reliable and dedicated individual working within Education and Training with a keen eye for detail? Do you have experience working in a facilities or maintenance role? Join a friendly and supportive school community as a Premises Assistant!

Position: Premises Assistant - Greenwich based SchoolHours: Full-time, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to FridayStart Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Set up and take down furniture for events and activities.
  • Assist with opening and closing the school premises.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Support with deliveries, health and safety checks, and other ad-hoc tasks.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in facilities management or maintenance is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

  • Provide us with 2 references covering at least a 6 month period and preferably working in a school based environment or one with children.
  • We will need a Child Only DBS on the update service - most in Education and Training now will need Child Only
