Premises Manager – Immediate Start
Location: South Norwood, SE25
Type: Full-time
Daily Rate: £120 - £170 (depending on experience)
We are a busy school based in South Norwood, SE25, and we are currently seeking a qualified Premises Manager to join our team with an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual to ensure the smooth running of the school premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily maintenance and safety of the school’s buildings and grounds
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Conducting general DIY and maintenance tasks to keep the premises in top condition
- Managing and coordinating contractors for larger maintenance projects
- Ensuring the security and cleanliness of the site
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in premises management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation
- Practical DIY skills and the ability to perform general repairs
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in a school setting is an advantage but not essential
