Primary Engineer - Transmission & Distribution Projects (Outside IR35 Contract)
We are looking for a seasoned Primary Engineer to take on pivotal roles in high-profile transmission and distribution projects. This contract position offers the flexibility of remote working, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the UK. As a Primary Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance the reliability and efficiency of the electrical networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop primary engineering solutions for transmission and distribution projects.
- Collaborate with National Grid, SSE, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance during project execution and commissioning.
- Participate in project meetings and liaise with stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
