Our school, located in Tower Hamlets, London, is seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Primary SEMH Teacher to join a small, highly supportive team within a unique SEMH partnership maintained by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for our twelve-place provision. This new provision promotes and supports the ethos, vision, and culture of our school and reflects its curriculum, teaching and learning approach, and specialist support.

The establishment of this school follows an authority-wide SEMH review aimed at improving social, emotional, and educational outcomes for primary-aged girls and boys in the borough whose needs cannot be effectively met in a mainstream setting.

The successful Primary SEMH Teacher must have sound knowledge and experience in working with primary-aged children who present with SEMH difficulties in either a specialist or mainstream setting. They should have proven skills in working as part of a team and demonstrate a willingness to work effectively within this unique, wider, educational partnership. They will be classroom-based, with Assistant Teacher support, and will be supported by the Head of School together with the wider staff team who all passionately believe in the importance of the right education for every child.
