This is a unique opportunity to shape the transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 for some of our most vulnerable learners. The successful candidate will:
- Lead intervention groups and focusing on developing Phonics/literacy and numeracy skills in Year 7.
- Bridge the curriculum gap, ensuring pupils are equipped to access learning across all subjects.
- Play a pivotal role in supporting a successful and smooth transition for pupils as they move into secondary education.
About You - Primary Teacher/Year 7 Transition Teacher In Ealing
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher with a strong track record of success.
- Or an experienced Primary trained SEN teacher.
- Has a passion for working with pupils to develop the skills they need to thrive.
- Demonstrates a nurturing yet strong presence, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students.
- Understands the challenges of the Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 transition and has the skills to help pupils overcome them.
- Is committed to ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential, particularly those who are more vulnerable.
