A Construction Health & Safety Consultancy are seeking a Principal Designer to oversee their long-standing client portfolio. The Principal Designer will have the chance to work on large-scale iconic projects as well as medium sized projects, from newbuild to fit-outs & refurbishments. They have interesting projects within heritage which will provide the interesting site-inspections, whilst working from an office 2-3 days a week.

The CDM Consultant Role

As a Principal Designer, you will play confidently lead meetings, manage all design safety risk for the portfolio you manage. There will be a team of CDM Advisors, Architects and Fire Risk Assessors to support your work. This is a client facing role focused on technical delivery and client satisfaction.

The Successful CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction (required), Tech IOSH (minimum), APS membership (required).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in CDM roles.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
