We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior/Lead Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales engagements across the UK and Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity solutions, a strong technical foundation, and the ability to engage with C-level executives. The successful candidate will drive business growth, mentor a team of Solution Architects, and support the development of innovative security services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pre-sales function across UK and Europe, supporting global locations where necessary.
- Provide technical evangelism across multiple security domains, helping clients enhance their security postures.
- Engage in C-suite and executive-level discussions, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into strategic business value.
- Develop tailored technical solutions, proposals, and high/low-level designs aligned with client needs.
- Own and drive RFP and bid management, ensuring compelling and competitive proposals.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new service opportunities and contributing to product strategy.
- Deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and lead Solution Architects and Pre-Sales Consultants, fostering technical excellence and client engagement.
- Represent the organisation as a public speaker, contributing to industry events, webinars, and podcasts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to shape cybersecurity service offerings.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong background in Managed Detection & Response (MDR);
- SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, Datadog)
- EDR (Defender, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Sophos),
- NDR (Darktrace/Vectra/ IBM QFlow).
- Experience in SASE, CSPM, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security (Azure, AWS).
- OT Security fundamentals
- Familiarity with Next-Gen Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint), Web Proxy (Zscaler/Netskope, Cisco Umbrella), and Zero Trust Architectures.
- Knowledge of networking, cloud migrations, security frameworks (NISTCSF, NIST 800-30, NIST 800-61, NIST 800-53, ISO27001), and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with high and low-level solution design, including complex security architectures.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, and security architecture.
- Experience in pre-sales leadership and business development.
- Strong expertise in technical solution design, consulting, and client engagement.
- Certifications in Security & Networking, Highly desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive stakeholders.
