Location: City of London - 2 day per week onsite
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in managing complex technology transitions and re-procurement projects. This is a pivotal role to oversee the strategic replacement of technology platforms and claims handling supplier. You will play a crucial part in managing the transition from an existing Technology (SAP) to a new Technology platform, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute a strategic plan for transitioning from the existing technology (SAP) to a new technology platform.
- Procurement Management: Lead the re-procurement of a new claims handling supplier, ensuring all contracts and service agreements are aligned with the business's objectives.
- Technology Transition: Oversee the full migration process, ensuring a seamless transition from the existing system to a new platform, while managing risks and ensuring the business continuity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and foster strong working relationships.
- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and technology solutions, providing insight and recommendations for future improvements.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks associated with the transition and procurement, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure all phases of the project are documented thoroughly and progress is reported to senior management on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have experience in project management, with a focus on technology transitions and supplier procurement
- Must have financial services experience
- Experience of E2E technology transisition experience
- Strong procurement experience, particularly in the re-procurement of suppliers and service contracts.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate current processes and technology solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Risk management experience, particularly in managing complex transition projects.
- Change management experience, particularly with large-scale technology
