Project Manager - Windows Upgrade, Windows 11, Windows 10
Our exciting and fast growing start-up client are looking for a new Project Manager to join their team on a contractual basis. This Project Manager (Windows Upgrade, Windows 11, Windows 10) role will be involved in the upgrade to Windows 11 on a client site for 800 users, this will involve engagement with stakholders and required to create project reports and feedback.
To be considered for this Project Manager (Windows Upgrade, Windows 11, Windows 10) role, it's ideal that you:
- Have 3 + Years experience within project managenet
- Have strong technical understanding
- Prior experience performing Windows upgrades with Windows 10 and/or Windows 11
- Open to day rates of maximum £450 per day Outside of IR35
The Project Manager will be responsible for
Project Coordination & Execution
- Managing the project timeline, ensuring milestones are met within the 4-month delivery period.
- Overseeing the third-party IT service provider (Atech) handling deployment, provisioning, and support.
- Aligning all project activities with XXX Hotel Group’s operational requirements and minimizing downtime.
- Coordinating smaller infrastructure-related tasks and projects that require project oversight.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Acting as the single point of contact for internal hotel teams and third-party vendors.
- Coordinating between hotel locations to ensure deployment readiness.
- Managing risks, issues, and escalation processes with vendors.
Deployment Oversight & Issue Resolution
- Ensuring devices are properly configured, deployed, and documented.
- Facilitating scheduling for hotel locations to receive device upgrades.
- Monitoring deployment progress and providing regular updates to senior management.
Budget & Compliance
- Tracking costs and ensuring budget alignment.
- Ensuring compliance with IT policies, security standards, and disposal regulations.
Post-Deployment Handover
- Overseeing documentation handover to Business as Usual (BAU) support teams.
- Gathering feedback and lessons learned for future IT deployments.
