We are seeking a driven and established Public Affairs Associate Director to join my client during this exciting period with a new Government in place. This role offers the opportunity to work on and grow integrated accounts across diverse public affairs sectors. A strong interest in politics and a solid understanding of public policy and campaigning are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and manage client accounts, ensuring their needs are met with excellence
- Service client accounts and build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships
- Lead new business opportunities and develop business leads
- Organise events and party conference activities
- Manage and mentor a growing team
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Solid experience working in a consultancy or public/private sector
- A broad base of sector experience, working on integrated accounts across media, stakeholder, digital, and change activities
- Strong people management skills
- Built and maintained strong political and stakeholder networks
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and a well-developed point of view
- Proven ability to develop or direct new business leads and deliver successful pitches
