Job Title: Python Engineer

Salary: £70K (10-15% discretionary bonus)
Location: Oxford Circus (4 days in the office) Must be based
We are working with a client providing regulatory tech solutions enabling institutions to manage complex compliance and regulatory challenges.
You will be helping build a Greenfield SaaS platform that allows transaction reporting across all of their global reporting programs. This company has been growing organically and recently secured a £40M investment which will be used to expand into new markets.
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Python Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will contribute to the enhancement of our En:ACT platform, developing innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of our clients in the financial sector. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of regulatory technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications within their platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into the development process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, working with either Django/Flask/FastAPI
- Strong understanding of web frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
