ABOUT THE SCHOOL - RE TEACHER



A hugely popular East London school are looking for a RE Teacher to teach high quality, engaging and well-planned lessons. The school is extremely well thought of in the local area and they have outstanding support and departments which function well.



The role is for a RE / Citizenship Teacher to teach upto Key Stage 5 and this is available for an October start to a suitable RE / Citizenship Teacher candidate. (All good RE teachers are welcome to apply, inclusive of ECT's and highly experienced teachers).



You will be passionate about your subject area's and be committed to securing excellent outcomes for children of all abilities. Essential skills and experience for the RE Teacher role:



* A successful track record of improving pupil performance

* Sound mathematical ability and familiarity with data management systems such as Excel
* Evidence of supporting and challenging students who underperform
* Awareness of national initiatives in education

* Ability to develop systems to support pupils both academically, socially and pastorally
* The ability to manage and inspire a variety of students.
