Job Role: RE Teacher

Salary: £185 - £265 per day

GSL Education London Branch is looking for a dedicated RE Teacher to join a well-respected Secondary School & Sixth Form in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate RE Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a thriving school community.

Responsibilities:

Teach Religious Education (RE) to KS3 and KS4 students.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and discussion.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Strong experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 levels.
A degree in Religious Studies or a closely related subject.
A Humanities Degree or PGCE alone will not be considered for this role.
Excellent classroom management skills.
A passion for Religious Education and a commitment to student success.
A valid DBS on the Update Service and strong professional references.
