Sonic Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate with experience in ceded reinsurance or a related field to join a growing insurance group.
The role involves supporting the Reinsurance Officer in developing relationships with MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers, as well as leading quarterly collateral calculations.
Key responsibilities include researching reinsurance markets, assisting with reporting requirements, gathering data for placements, and reviewing reinsurance contracts.
Candidates should have relevant experience, ideally with reinsurance systems, and the position is suited for analytically minded professionals in a fast-paced environment.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with a salary of £45,000 and requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.

An excellent, newly created opportunity for someone who has gained experience in a ceded reinsurance or related function and has an understanding of complex outwards reinsurance programs for an ambitious and growing insurance group.

You will be supporting the Reinsurance Officer to

Develop and maintain relationships with the business' MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers
Taking the lead on completing quarterly collateral calculations
Researching reinsurance markets and assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for management
Gathering data to support reinsurance placements
Reviewing proportional and non-proportional reinsurance contracts
Handling technical queries from reinsurers and brokers
Assisting in the development of the reinsurance strategy.
