Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with a high end residential Property Management firm in Central London. They are currently in the process of adding a full-time, permanent Relief Porter/Concierge to the team in order to provide holiday and absence cover across the Prime Central London portfolio. This role would suit someone who has at least a years' prior experience working in a Residential Concierge/Hospitality role:Duties/Functions of the role:

  • Meeting and greeting residents and their guests on arrival.
  • Attending to residents and visitors' needs and wants within reasonable expectations.
  • Opening doors, carry parcels and suitcases.
  • Assisting management with maintaining records and daily administration.
  • Reporting any Health and Safety concerns to the General Manager and Deputy Manager.
  • Checking vacant flats on a weekly basis, part of this will include running the taps and appliances, checking for leaks and any other potential problems, taking meter readings, noting maintenance issues.
  • Ensuring timely communication with residents, contractors and management via email/ phone.
  • Performing daily/weekly/monthly building checks.
  • Communal key/ apartments key and parcel management.
  • Carrying out basic DIY as and when required, this may include changing light bulbs or fuses for example.
  • Overseeing tradesmen working on site.
  • Maintaining a high level of security measures at the property.

Requirements of the role:

  • At least 1+ years' experience working as a Residential Concierge or within Hospitality as a Porter
  • Flexibility to cover 35 hours per week over multiple Central London site.
  • Passion for Customer Service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good level of computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Good understanding of how to build and maintain strong working relationships.
