We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reporting Lead to join our public sector client’s team. This role is central to the implementation of a new Data and Solutions Capability within a centralised service delivery model, aimed at enhancing business services across various functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving reporting and analysis solutions, ensuring optimal data-driven decision-making.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and understand reporting needs, gather requirements, and define KPIs for effective reporting and dashboards.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a robust reporting framework, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports and visualisations.
  • Design and build visually compelling dashboards and reports using ERP solutions like Oracle.
  • Maintain and enhance the reporting vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Identify trends and opportunities from data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure usability and optimisation of reporting tools for maximum impact across the organisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data and reporting practices, staying abreast of industry trends and innovations.
  • Foster a data-driven culture, promoting data literacy and effective use of data analysis tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of reporting experience in enterprise-wide or Shared Services operations, with public sector experience being highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in a senior reporting or analysis role, such as Reporting Analytics Manager or Data Reporting Manager.
  • Strong experience with ERP platforms, particularly Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams, maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience in developing and implementing large data and technology infrastructures with appropriate practices and standards.
  • Detailed practical knowledge of core end to end services covering Commercial, Finance and HR scope of services?
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, analytic methodologies, and reporting techniques.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Maths, Operational Research, or a related field is preferable.
  • Professional qualification in data/analytics is ideal.
