About the Role:


Are you passionate about helping individuals secure stable, independent housing? We are seeking a dedicated PRS Access and Resettlement Worker to join a vital service in Lambeth, supporting clients to access independent accommodation in the private rented sector.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of 25-30 clients, providing tenancy-related support to help them move into private rented sector housing.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, co-produce housing plans, and deliver strengths-based support with clear, goal-oriented objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords and letting agents to source suitable accommodation.
  • Ensure properties comply with health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with housing legislation, welfare reforms, and other areas impacting clients.
  • Assist clients with property viewings, tenancy sign-ups, and settling into their new homes.
  • Advocate for both landlords and clients to resolve tenancy-related issues.

About You:
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, highly organized, and knowledgeable about housing and welfare legislation. You should have experience in:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with landlords, letting agents, or housing providers.
  • Delivering structured, time-limited interventions to relieve or prevent homelessness.
  • Advising on welfare benefits, housing law, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Working in partnership with external agencies to improve outcomes for clients.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • A good level of numeracy, literacy, and comprehension.

Additional Information:
This role requires lone working. Candidates should be available for an immediate start.
