We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Room Leader to lead our thriving One Year old setting! Time has flown and we have grown steadily with huge demand but in order to grow even further we need a confident Pre-school Room Leader.
Our setting is uniquely based boasting large grounds, airy spacey rooms and providing a calm as well as picturesque environment. Our program is designed to prepare children for their next educational journey, instilling a love for learning and developing essential social and academic skills.
We work above the keyworker ratio, giving Nursery Practitioner & Room Leader's not only time to breathe within the day, but also plan and be creative with their activities and observations. We are the kind of setting who clearly understand that to care for our children we must care for our staff.
Based in Lewisham it is easily accessible by both train and bus with parking available for those who drive.
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 per year
The Pre-school Room Leader will:
- Be responsible for up to 28 children daily and 5 staff to manage
- Have a dedicated Deputy Room Leader and non-ratio Pre-school Readiness Practitioner for support ( to ensure you're over ratio at all times)
- Dedicated Support from the management team and a Forest School Leader separate to the room

You will need:
- Experience working within childcare
- Knowledge of EYFS and Safeguarding
- To hold a qualification of level 3 in Childcare or above
- Clear Enhanced DBS
