Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a passionate, experienced Room Leader or Qualified Nursery Practitioner for a quality childcare provider based near Finchley, London. The successful candidate must have a real passion for childcare and provide the highest standards in quality childcare and have a thorough understanding of the need to provide a stimulating, caring and consistent environment for the children at the Nursery

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the responsibility for providing a high quality of teaching and offer appropriate stimulation and support to the children.
  • Ensure the Nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others, that equipment is safe, standards of hygiene are high, safety procedures are implemented at all times and fire drills are regularly practised.
  •  Liaise with and support parents and other family members
  • To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parent evening, fundraising events etc.
  • To be flexible within working practices of the nursery. Be prepared to help where needed.
  • Work alongside the Manager and staff team to ensure that the nursery’s philosophy is fulfilled
  • Ensure safe supervision of children at all times ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
  •  Be constantly aware of the individual needs of all children
