LB366 - Sales Advisor Location - Central LondonSalary - £28,000 - £40,000First Military Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Advisor on behalf of our client, a specialist retailer of shotguns, rifles, and shooting equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business with excellent career advancement potential.Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Meet and greet retail customers, providing a welcoming and professional service.
  •  Offer expert advice on firearms, ammunition, and shooting accessories, ensuring customers select the right products for their needs.
  •  Educate customers on firearm safety, storage regulations, and legal compliance.
  •  Process and manage firearm sales, ensuring all transactions comply with UK firearm laws and licensing requirements.
  •  Input customer orders and firearm details into the internal CRM system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal documentation.
  •  Conduct stock checks and ensure firearms and shooting equipment are securely stored in accordance with regulations.
  •  Assist with the merchandising and display of products, ensuring all firearms and accessories are presented attractively and safely.
  •  Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses.
  •  Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and secure storage areas.
  •  Follow strict health and safety protocols, ensuring the safe handling of firearms and ammunition at all times.
  •  Report any breaches of company policy, security concerns, or suspicious behavior to Senior Management.
  •  Assist with relevant licenses and verifying customer credentials in compliance with UK regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of firearms, ammunition, and shooting equipment is highly desirable (training can be provided).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • A professional and responsible approach to shotgun and firearm handling and sales.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a regulated retail environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding paperwork, licensing, and compliance.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous retail or trade sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of UK firearm laws and regulations is desirable (training will be provided).
