SAP SD Functional Consultant
Permanent| £60,000 - £65,000 | Bonus & Excellent benefits
1-2 days per week in Central London office
Vibrant and thriving business, is looking for an experienced SAP SD / OTC Functional Consultant to join the team. This is a Senior role within the team which will take significant responsibility for facing off to the business and key stakeholders, leading workshops, and with a view on the integration points around MM and FICO.
The role will take responsibility for:
- Working through a number of logged defects which require investigation and solution design which very often show up in FI but require a solution in SD.
- Requirements gathering and solution design in SD primarily, but also MM modules.
- Take solution design through to configuration, test and delivery - both your own and other POC solutions in the pipeline.
- In the medium term, take on defect identification, resolution and solution design, proactively.
- Working closely with inhouse ABAP resource to identify and resolve defects and problems.
About you:
- Significant consulting / solution design and user experience within SAP SD.
- Some exposure to integration with MM / FI also highly desirable.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders and business process owners.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills will be essential.
- A team player, able to work with key people across teams and bring people with you.
- Expertise drawn from a number of businesses in terms of best possible SAP solutions.
- ABAP debugging or ability to work closely with ABAP resource to resolve problems.
- Solid configuration and test experience, to enable you to take the solution design right through to delivery.
- Ideally, some working knowledge of MM or FI would be beneficial to the team, in terms of how solutions may impact other areas in the OTC flow.
- Primarily focused on ECC, the business is starting the S/4 journey and there will be an opportunity to go on that with them in terms of learning.
