Reporting directly to the Site Manager, this role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone at this school. As a key team member, you will provide essential support to staff, students, and visitors, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising your prior experience in school or facilities caretaking to make an immediate impact.

  • Assisting in the effective management and upkeep of the school property.

  • Collaborating closely with the Site Manager to address caretaking and site management needs.

  • Ensuring the school’s machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

  • Preserving the internal and external appearance of the school, creating a pleasant and safe environment.

  • Supporting the maintenance of the school's infrastructure, furnishings, and equipment to ensure excellent functionality.

  • Delivering outstanding service to all school users and visitors, with a strong focus on security and health and safety.

  • Overseeing the opening or closing of the school site during your scheduled early or late shifts.

  • Participating in professional development training provided by the school to enhance your skills.

What We Offer:

  • Shifts: Work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rotating schedule between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
