An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school, located in the heart of Ealing is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Medical Officer to join our team in January. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to support and manage the school medical room while working as part of an exceptional team.

School Medical Officer Job Overview:

• Provide first aid and respond to medical issues for students and staff as needed.
• Oversee and manage the school's medical room, ensuring it is well-organised and fully equipped.
• Support the health and well-being of the students of Ealing, offering care and reassurance in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of medical incidents and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Collaborate with staff to promote a safe and healthy school environment.
• Monitor and address minor medical concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with the implementation of health and safety standards, with further training provided as required.
• Provide guidance and support in line with the school's commitment to student welfare.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding health-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards (further training provided).

School Medical Officer Requirements:

• A minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage minor medical concerns with professionalism.
• A proactive and compassionate approach to student welfare.
• Previous experience as a School Medical Officer.
