Role Overview

As a Scrum Master, you will ensure that agile and Scrum practices are effectively implemented across teams in alignment within our clients agile Chapter.

You will play a key role in facilitating Scrum events, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving the delivery of high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile Leadership: Guide teams in adopting agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
  • Facilitation: Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
  • Sprint Execution & Delivery: Manage sprint planning and execution, providing transparency into progress, dependencies, and delivery forecasts.
  • Team Productivity: Identify and remove obstacles that may impact team performance, enabling high throughput and efficiency.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key agile metrics, such as burndown charts, velocity, and delivery forecasts, to drive visibility and informed decision-making.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Support team members in developing agile skills, making effective commitments, and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion agile methodologies, contribute to training initiatives, and drive alignment across teams and business units.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and a solid understanding of agile principles.
  • Scrum Mastery: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification/experience.
  • IT & Delivery Background: Experience in software development, IT project management, or related fields.
  • Industry Experience: Exposure to telecommunications, broadband, or OSS/BSS domains (preferred but not essential).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an agile environment.
