SEND Teachers Required

We are currently seeking passionate and committed SEND Teachers to join our partner schools in Camden, which are looking for new team members for the upcoming academic year. Opportunities are available for permanent, contract, and daily supply roles.

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. Your work will help students access the curriculum, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEND.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that foster student growth and development.
Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

Specialisation or additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or SEND teaching are highly desirable.
Proven experience teaching students with SEND, preferably within a school environment, with a deep understanding of various SEND types and strategies to support learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students who may have complex needs or display challenging behaviours.
