The Role

We are seeking a passionate, excellent classroom teacher, highly motivated, and ambitious SENDCo to lead our thriving Learning Development team. If you are a dedicated, motivated and determined individual looking for an opportunity to make your mark, this is the perfect opportunity for you to join our journey of success.

SEND is a very strong area of the school with a track record of successful outcomes for our students. The team consists of the SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo and 8 LSAs. We currently have 35 students on roll with EHCPs and 15% of students are on the SEN register. We offer wide range of in-school interventions and liaise closely with external partners.

We are ambitious for all students and believe all can make outstanding academic progress. The SENDCo plays a critical role in influence teaching and learning so that any student with additional needs can achieve and be successful.

About you

This role calls for an individual who is able to inspire, challenge and motivate our students and staff. You must have the highest of expectations of every student, be enthusiastic, flexible and have a desire to see SEND continue to flourish as well as the desire to become a valued member of this specific College. This is the perfect opportunity for someone to enter a substantial middle leadership role who aspires to senior leadership.
