Location: London

Contract Length: 3 months

Working Style: Hybrid - 1 day in office per week

Our client, a well-respected Central Government organisation, is seeking two Senior Analytics Engineers to join their Data Modelling and Engineering Team in London. As a part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in modernising and stabilising the legal aid data landscape, enabling confident data-driven decision making to promote access to justice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to build and maintain data pipelines and load data to the Analytical Platform
  • Utilise dimensional modelling principles to provide valuable and usable data to downstream users
  • Develop and test data models in accordance with business requirements
  • Review and draught data documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Work closely with data users to understand data requirements and its relation to business processes

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Excellent SQL and jinja skills
  • Experience with dbt, including best practise implementation
  • Strong data modelling skills
  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing data documentation
  • Familiarity with conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with data users and stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Programming experience in Python
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally AWS
  • Experience in building dashboards or data applications
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, particularly with GitHub Actions
