Senior AV Engineer (On-Site - Corporate)

Lorien's client, a successful and growing professional services firm, are currently recruiting a Senior AV Engineer to work on-site at their office in central London. The company holds their AV facilities and team with high regards as it is a key strategy for their business to create a strong impression and deliver exceptional service within their industry. As a result, they are investing heavily in the most cutting edge of meeting room and event/conferencing technologies and are looking for a Senior AV Engineer who is passionate about all forms of AV technology to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Management and Coordination of all AV requirements.
- Setting up and operating AV equipment for events.
- Troubleshooting and completing break-fix for technical issues across meeting rooms and event technology.
- Training and guiding junior members of the team
- Collaborate with IT and other teams within the business to integrate their AV technology within the company's infrastructure.
- Keep up to date with current and future AV technologies, advising on opportunities to improve and being a source of knowledge for senior stakeholders (IT/AV Project Lead, Director of Technology, Tech Support Manager).
Role requirements:
- Strong experience managing AV for live events/conferencing including hybrid events using MS Teams within a corporate environment.
- Skilled, and holding certifications in various AV technologies including Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron control/Simpl/VXT, Microsoft 700, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft 700, Epiphan Pearl.
- Good communication skills, delivering a white glove experience and exhibiting effective stakeholder management in high pressure situations.
