This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant to take on a leadership role in providing high-quality wind and building physics consultancy. The role involves developing strategies for thermal comfort and overheating in complex developments, ensuring the wellbeing of pedestrians and occupants in major urban projects.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Building Physics Consultant:

  • Overseeing and delivering thermal comfort and overheating assessments, particularly using Dynamic Thermal Modelling.
  • Collaborating with Design Analysts to generate accurate 3D models and conduct data analysis.
  • Producing high-quality technical reports and providing strategic advice to clients.
  • Managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships, promoting the company's expertise in wind and building physics.
  • Identifying business opportunities and supporting the company's growth strategy.


The ideal Senior Building Physics Consultant will have:

  • Extensive experience in Dynamic Thermal Modelling and overheating assessments.
  • A deep understanding of ventilation strategies for complex buildings, along with the aerodynamic and thermodynamic principles that underpin them.
  • Proven success in client-facing roles, with a strong background in professional consultancy.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience in preparing complex technical reports.
