Backed by substantial investment and part of a financially stable group, this company is embarking on a multi-year transformation program, making now the perfect time to join their journey.

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in London

Salary: £85,000 - £90,000+(bonus, benefits TBC)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for managing the deployment and operations of software systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and improving platform performance and stability.
  • Work closely with the development team in China to streamline processes, implement automation and optimisation of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins and Rundeck to ensure secure software releases.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools such as AWS CDK, Ansible, Terraform, or Cloudformation to automate provisioning and management of resources.
  • Overseeing and optimizing the AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance, and cost effectiveness whilst serving an international customer base.
  • Monitor and logging - Implement and maintain robust monitoring and logging solutions using ELK Stack.
  • Automation - Identifying opportunities for automation of routine tasks and processes to improve efficiencies so resources can be focused on increasing value to the customer.
  • Ensuring security of the applications and infrastructure by implementing best practises, working with security team to perform regular audits, and move towards a Devsecops ethos.

What We’re Looking For

  • Expertise in DevOps with a track record of managing systems and infrastructure including web customer experiences and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Circle CI or Jenkins. IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloudformation. Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. AWS is essential.
  • Scripting and automation skills: Extensive Python skills scripting and beyond.
  • Monitoring tools experience using Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack.
  • Experience with containerisation tools such as Kubernetes or Docker and orchestration.
  • Security best practises knowledge for securing cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A mindset of "automate everything", with a focus on production-ready, scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, distributed teams.
  • High energy, drive, and a commercial mindset—someone who understands the importance of delivering value to end users.
  • Knowledge of DORA metrics or experience integrating AI and ML solutions.
