Senior Implementation Consultant - London

A leading provider of tax software solutions is looking to hire a senior implementation consultant in London. Based in the professional services team, your main responsibilities will include managing the implementation and development of tax technology solutions and driving process improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing and executing implementation plans.
  • Scoping out projects based on business requirements.
  • Performing technical or functional roles on international projects.
  • Communicating regularly with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Facilitating meetings.
  • Identifying and developing upsell opportunities.
  • Mentoring implementation specialists and consultants.
  • Recommending optimal system configuration and business processes.
  • Assisting with pre-sales activities.
  • Engaging with other teams to deliver end-end indirect tax solutions.

Main experience and skills required:

  • Strong experience in indirect tax law.
  • Proficient with tax engine solutions and ERP systems.
  • Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution.
  • An understanding of end-end financial processes and systems.

To be successful in this role you need to possess strong organisational and analytical skills with a methodical approach to work and the ability to work in a matrix environment. Also essential is the ability to develop risk management plans and mitigate subsequent issues.
