Location: Home Based in South East or London, with UK Travel
Salary: £36,000-£43,000 DOE + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 8.45am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday

As part of our on-going expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legionella/Water Safety Specialist/Authorising Engineer (Water) to join our enthusiastic team here at Legionella Control International. Our core services include Legionella and water safety risk assessments, training, water analysis, auditing, expert witness advice, Authorising Engineer (Water) and independent consultancy services. About the Role:

The role is diverse and will involve Legionella risk assessments, compliance audits, water safety consulting and the delivery of training to clients. The role will also involve project management of larger accounts where good organisational and management skills will be essential. The role requires close collaboration with clients and relationship-building to deliver high-quality advice and service excellence promptly.

Our typical recruitment process focuses on hiring junior consultants, who are then promoted to senior roles. This approach offers a unique opportunity for you to further advance your established career, with the potential to ultimately become a principal consultant or Authorising Engineer.

There will be frequent travel to central London, candidates must be within easy travel of the capital.

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Legionella/Water Safety Consultant/Authorising Engineer (Water) with a desire to deliver the highest levels of client advise and service excellence. You will be comfortable talking to prospects and existing clients in all sectors, and at all levels.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Legionella/Water Safety Specialist/Authorising Engineer (Water).
Capable of undertaking Legionella risk assessments on large complex sites and cooling towers.
Experience on delivering Legionella training courses at all levels (desirable)
Capable of advising on all water system types, across from all business sectors to meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Experience of project managing large accounts and organising both yours and colleagues' workloads
Familiar with relevant legislation and guidelines relating to the control of Legionella, Pseudomonas, other waterborne pathogens, and water safety matters including ACOP L8 and HSG274, HTM04-01 and other relevant documents.
Excellent communication, report writing and organisational skills.
Keen eye for detail, strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to liaise with colleagues to provide commercial, technical and general support as necessary.
Build relationships with new and existing clients and emphasise the benefits of working with Legionella Control International.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Degree qualification ideally in a scientific subject would be desirable.
Proficient in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM.
Able to travel and hold a full clean UK driving licence.
