About the Role:

As the Senior Procurement Lead you will oversee all aspects of purchasing and supply chain. This is a pivotal role where you'll be responsible for all sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure the best possible value. Your expertise will be critical in optimising procurement strategies, collaborating with internal and external teams, and helping maintain our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive procurement best practices and ensure operational teams adhere to procurement policies.
  • Lead the creation of a two-year rolling strategy, planning buyer activities and pipeline initiatives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maximizing value for the business.
  • Research new technologies and trends, leading pre-qualification meetings and reviewing supplier tenders.
  • Educate business users on innovative delivery models and operational solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular evaluations to enhance performance.
  • Advocate for sustainable sourcing strategies, promoting local products/minimizing delivery miles
  • Input to budget planning and forecasting, identifying financial risks and collaborating with the finance team to address them.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring smooth continuity of supply and minimal disruptions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience of managing contracts and suppliers in CAPEX, security, catering, materials, labour and building and facilities management categories
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to understand and prioritise commercial objectives.
  • Strong experience in supplier management and stakeholder engagement.
  • A self-starter who thrives under pressure and takes initiative to solve problems.
  • Expertise in identifying trends and risks in the supply chain.
  • Track record of exceptional negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and identify quick wins
  • MCIPS Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Must be able to attend the office 3-4 days per week - East London
