Senior ServiceNow Engineer - Service Portal - ITSM - JavaScriptContract - 6 months, up to £500/day PAYEGlobal financial services client is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
You will design and develop Service Portal pages, widgets, and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting. This role provides an opportunity to customize and extend the functionality of Service Portal by leveraging ServiceNow APIs and integration capabilitiesSkills and experience required:
- Software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- ServiceNow Service Portal Developer and developing custom, advanced portal widgets
- Expertise in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Expertise in ServiceNow development, including client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and workflows.
- Expertise with AngularJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks and expertise in responsive design principles and mobile-friendly development.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow ITSM module
