Senior Video Technician - AV Events Sector

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Video Technician on behalf of our client who are an events production company based in London.
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of video production and will work closely with the production team to plan, set up and execute video elements, including cameras, projectors, screens and video playback systems.
You will be an expert in vital troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and will have a background in video production which is demonstratable on your application.
This role will require travelling to client sites in and around London, so a driving licence is essential for this role.
Duties:
- Maintain and prepare video equipment
- Deliver technical video elements on site
- Pre-production video technical support
- With the Video Technicans ensure all equipment is up to date with software and firmware
- Attend site meetings and assist in event planning
- Manage the preparation of lighting equipment and identify any faults
- Carry out onsite installations, derigging, staff management and briefings
- Train junior staff members within the team
- Receive and return hire equipment
