Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the Role:

Do you have experience in primary or special servicing or mortgage administration? We have an exciting new opportunity to support the Servicing and Arrears Manager at a specialist lending firm.

You'll join a small oversight team that focuses on managing relationships with third-party loan servicers. As a Servicing and Arrears Administrator, your role will involve providing administrative support to the Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Put Customers First: Help ensure a top-notch service for mortgage customers.
  • Handle Borrower Requests: Review customer requests and help decide the best course of action for each situation.
  • Monitor Mortgage Performance: Work with our team to track overdue payments, suggest improvements, and collaborate with our servicing and funding partners to keep things on track.
  • Coordinate with Partners: Communicate with the servicing partner to handle documents and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Provide Insights: Help prepare reports to share with our institutional funders
  • Keep an Eye on Risks: Regularly review accounts for overdue payments, assess risk levels, and monitor key details like loan-to-value ratios, equity, and tenancy status.
  • Spot Problem Accounts: Identify mortgages that are at risk or breaking terms and recommend actions to resolve issues.

Experience required:

  • 1 years' experience gained in primary and special servicing or mortgage sector experience coupled with administrative skills and experience
  • Have a Consumer Duty mindset
  • Desired understanding of AML policies and procedures
  • The ability to work in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change
  • Good time management skills
  • A good sense of humour
