Our client, a leading company in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior SHE Advisor and a SHE Advisor to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. The roles involve working on key TFL projects including A40 Live, Brent Cross, and Gallows Corner, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement and a split of 70/30 office to site. The office is conveniently located in Bank, just 2 minutes from the Tube station.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) matters relating to construction and highways projects
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices across all project activities
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies
  • Monitoring and auditing SHE performance on-site and in the office
  • Providing support and guidance on SHE issues to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Participating in site inspections and preparing detailed reports on findings
  • Collaborating with project teams to promote a culture of health and safety
  • Facilitating training sessions and workshops to enhance SHE awareness


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in health and safety roles, preferably within the construction or highways sectors
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation plans
  • Proficiency in preparing comprehensive SHE reports and documentation
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work both in the office and on-site as needed
