Company Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated SHEQ Manager for a full-time office-based role located in Sidcup. The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, environment, and quality (SHEQ) practices within the telecoms sector. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective implementation of health and safety policies, conducting assessments, managing occupational health standards, leading accident investigations, and coordinating training programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1. Oversee health and safety procedures within the telecoms network environment.
2. Conduct health and safety assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
3. Lead accident investigations, implement corrective actions, and prevent future incidents.
4. Ensure occupational health standards are adhered to, promoting a safe working environment.
5. Manage and coordinate SHEQ training programs for staff.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
7. Determine and implement a strategy from SHEQ perspective
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Proven track record within the telecoms network environment.
2. Knowledge of Openreach Health & Safety protocols and accreditation's.
3. NEBOSH certification is essential for this role.
4. Relevant SHEQ qualifications or certifications.
5. Experience in conducting accident investigations and developing training programs.
