Shipping Execution SpecialistRef: AJ46115A dynamic and fast-growing logistics company is currently recruiting a Shipping Execution Specialist to work in their London office.In this role, you will be responsible for checking shipping documents for containers and bulk vessel shipments, as well as national and international truck logistics.The ideal candidate should have 5+ years’ logistics experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.------------------------------------

Shipping Execution Specialist Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordination/Supervision of containerised/bulk/break bulk commodity shipments
  • Coordination/Supervision of truck deliveries/collections
  • Stock maintenance and reconciliation between inhouse systems and 3rd party stores
  • Supplier/Service Provider invoice processing
  • Facilitate in the smooth running of the Trade Execution department
  • Execute Purchase and Sale Contracts
  • Maintain stock control and liaise with Traders regarding position management
  • Develop working relationships with service providers to increase competitiveness
  • Suggest / Recommend improvements to processes and procedures
  • Maintain high levels of customer service

Shipping Execution Specialist Ideal Candidate:

  • «Essential» More than 5 years of experience in Logistics
  • In depth contractual knowledge
  • Experience checking shipment documents against contracts
  • Good communication skills, High level of attention to detail
  • PC skills: Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Business level fluency in English
  • 2nd language a bonus but not essential
