Job Title: Site Electrician

Location: London - Heathrow

Pay Range/details: £30k - £54k + OTE

Contract Type: Permanent

We're working with a leading control system solutions provider to the infrastructure industry, delivering projects from refurbishments to full end-to-end turnkey solutions in the core markets of Transport, Airports and Tunnels. Some of their clients consist of Heathrow Airport, Highways England, National Grid, and more.

The role is for a Site Electrician, where you will be responsible for ensuring equipment installations meet the required standards before testing begins, performing site acceptance tests, fault-finding, and resolving any wiring issues.

Key Responsibilities – Site Electrician

Checking installation of equipment is to the correct standard prior to starting testing
Performing testing of a system according to installation and commissioning test document
Field device set-up
Perform site acceptance tests, fault find and correct any wiring issues
Perform client testing according to test documents
Produce documentation such as RAM’s; test documentation; weekly progress reports etc

Qualifications & Requirements – Site Electrician

Qualified to HND level or above in electrical or control engineering
Have a full UK driving licence
Have no criminal convictions due to security clearances required by airport authorities
This is a field-based role covering the different sites throughout UK and would be suited for someone with a flexible approach to travelling and working away from home. There is a potential to work a mix of days and nights whilst working on site dependent upon the project and client site access availability
