About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a Solace Subject Matter. Someone who knows PubSub+ inside out and can steer our client’s messaging strategy across cloud and on-prem. As a seasoned expert who can lead design decisions, you will set technical direction, and support teams across the business in building high-performing, reliable real-time systems.

You’ll be the go-to person for everything Solace, helping us fine-tune performance, improve resilience, and keep our systems running smoothly. If you’ve done this at scale and love turning complex messaging setups into slick, future-proof platforms - we’d love to talk.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Architecting and improving Solace deployments across hybrid and cloud environments

- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and ops to deliver robust, low-latency messaging solutions

- Owning best practices around performance, monitoring, and failover

- Mentoring the messaging team and guiding implementation work

- Troubleshooting the tough problems when things get weird in production

- Driving automation and tooling to streamline platform management

Your Expertise

- 7+ years working with Solace PubSub+ at an advanced or expert level

- Deep knowledge of messaging principles, network tuning, and cloud-native deployments

- Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible

- Strong communicator who’s just as comfortable talking architecture as diving into logs

- Bonus if you’ve worked with Kafka, containers, or multi-cloud environments

You’ll shape how real-time data moves across a very large, high-impact organisation that’s leading the way and get to work with great tech, smart people, and have plenty of autonomy.
