Data Solutions Architect - GCP - London - Hybrid - £100k - £125k

This exciting opportunity is within the Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform, for a highly experienced data driven Solutions Architect with expertise in GCP to join an exciting team in the banking sector.

The Role

  • You'll lead, direct and shape approaches to solving technical challenges and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • You'll work in a highly collaborative way to drive efforts to create, build, support and improve our software working closely with the product and engineering teams with lots of exciting new challenges.
  • You'll be a core contributor to ensure good quality and engineering practices are followed in accordance with engineering transformation strategy.

What I need to apply for the Role

  • Strong experience of solution design, security & resilience patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, containerisation, cloud native and event-driven design concepts.
  • Strong understanding of API standards, security and gateway patterns.
  • Strong understanding of data technologies - SQL/NoSQL, Big Data.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, in particular GCP.
  • Knowledge of monolith to microservice patterns.
  • Strong experience & knowledge of some key LBG development technologies (e.g. JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, Python).
