Calling all special needs teachers! SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a fabulous special needs school in the borough of Ealing!

The school is Ofsted rated "outstanding" and is a specialist school for autistic children and young people. The school caters to young people from 4 to 22 years old.

The school fosters a creative approach and has a performing arts specialism, helping autistic children to learn and develop.

THE DETAILS:

  • KS1 class
  • 4 students in the class
  • 3 learning support assistants
  • All students have a diagnosis of Autism (ASD) and are non-verbal

We need you to be resilient, caring and sensitive towards the needs of autistic children.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Must have QTS
  • Experience as a special needs teacher (Autism/ASD)
  • Proven knowledge of the curriculum and the impact on pupils with autism
  • Ability to lead and drive forward the coordination of designated areas of the curriculum across the school
  • Passion for working with pupils with complex behaviour needs
  • Be keen about curriculum innovations and teaching and learning approaches
